November 24, 2011 · 12:51 PM
Parents of Cedarcrest High School and Tolt Middle School students are invited to "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent," a seven-week parenting course offered Wednesday evenings at Cedarcrest High School starting Jan. 4.
The Love and Logic Institute has created the course, known as "America’s Most Practical and Entertaining Parent Training," to give parents practical skills, and help them have more fun parenting and feel more confident. It offers answers to such common questions as:
• “How can I get my teenager to take responsibility for their homework?”
• “How do I help my teen learn to manage money?”
• “How do I get my teens to help with the chores without an argument?”
• “How can I get my teenager to come home at the agreed-upon time?
The classes run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 4, 11, 18, and 25, and Feb. 1, 8 and 22. Cost is $10, for the workbook.
To register, or for more information, contact Joan Zoet, Tolt Middle School, 3740 Tolt Avenue, Carnation, WA 98014, 425-844-4608.
