Lee Huffaker of North Bend was injured August 7 in a motorcycle accident near Rattlesnake Lake. He sustained multiple broken bones and had to have his gall bladder and part of one lung removed. He remains in intensive care at Harborview Medical Center.

To help with his medical expenses, the Moose Lodge, 108 Sydney Ave. North Bend, is hosting a benefit auction and dinner Friday, Sept. 9. Dinner and a silent auction begin at 6 p.m., and at 7:45, the live auction will begin.

Volunteers and donations are welcome. Donations can also be made to a fund for Huffaker at the Sno Falls Credit Union at the QFC in North Bend.
