Drug use, city projects, transportation bond topic at upcoming North Bend town hall meeting

North Bend residents are invited to a Town Hall Meeting, 6:30 to 8 p.m.Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Mount Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave. S.

Join city of North Bend officials and staff for a social hour with hot dogs and dessert beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Town Hall Meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Topics of discussion will include city-wide project updates, drug use indicators among teens, and the upcoming Transportation Benefit District bond measure.  Staff will answer questions.

Children’s activities and public education will be provided free of charge by Encompass and Eastside Fire and Rescue for parents who wish to bring their children.
