Dreamliner, Navy Prowler to buzz Snoqualmie Ridge TPC this weekend

Keep your eye to the sky on Friday and Sunday morning to spot some unusual aircraft, close up.

At 11:20 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner will buzz the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge course, officially opening the Boeing Classic tournament.

Moments after the flight, the first group of PGA Champions Tour pros tee off in the benefit tournament.

Then at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, a U.S. Navy EA-6B electronic-warfare jet, the Prowler, will perform a flyover of the tournament for Military Appreciation Day. The event also marks the centennial of the naval aviation for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

The Prowler is based at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.
