Senior Services has taken over scheduling of two vans that operate out of the Sno-Valley Senior Center. Changes to the program as of July 1 include the name, to Hyde Shuttle, and the phone numbers to call for requesting a ride, (877) 415-3632 and (425) 333-4009.

Nothing else will change in the program. Drivers will still provide service to seniors age 55 and older, and people with disabilities, to senior center activities and for other local errands.  Shuttles operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and there is no charge for rides, but donations are welcome.

Senior shuttles are lift-equipped for people who have difficulty using stairs or use a mobility aid. The shuttles are named in honor of Lillian May Hyde, a longtime Seattle resident whose bequest provides funding.
