Open house planned for Middle Fork Road improvement plan
June 7, 2011 · Updated 1:00 PM
Valley residents are invited to share input on the reconstruction of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Road and Forest Road 56, outside North Bend in King County and the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
An open house by the county, U.S. Forest Service and Federal Highway Administration is 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at the Snoqualmie Ranger Station in North Bend at 902 Southeast North Bend Way. Project staff will be on hand.
Concepts for the preferred plan would reconstruct the road, which varies from 12 to 28 feet wide, to a 20-foot-wide standard.
