Crash, repairs cause North Bend areas to lose power

Sections of North Bend will lose power Tuesday, April 12, due to repairs to a truck crash.

A U-Haul truck collided with a utility pole in the 39400 block of Southeast North Bend Way early Tuesday morning. To complete repairs to the pole, power will be cut to the Tanner substation at midnight.

The outage is expected to last four to five hours. Areas that could be affected included the North Bend Outlet Mall, Safeway, Rock Creek Ridge and Forster Woods areas of the city.

An ambulance left the scene of the accident, but there is no information available on injuries caused by the crash.
