Flooding could hit Snoqualmie Valley this week

Levels on the Snoqualmie River are forecast to rise quickly in the next few days, according to the Floodzilla website, which tracks national agency predictions.

Today's projections show a crest of the river at Snoqualmie Falls around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, at 14,668 cubic feet per second, and 11.48 feet. Flood stage at this station is 12.98 feet.

Downstream, the effects will be worse. At the Carnation station, flood stage 54 feet, the crest is expected at 11 a.m. Thursday, 39,847 cfs, and 57.95 feet.
