The National Weather Service is on flood watch Thursday afternoon, Jan. 20, warning that heavy rain coming through late Friday, Jan. 21, may bring the Snoqualmie River at Carnation back to flood stage.

The river had fallen below flood stage by Thursday morning.

Two to three inches of rain could fall in some spots along the Cascades. Rivers are high and soils are very wet due to recent rain.

The rain could trigger landslides as well.
