Fire investigators have posted a $10,000 reward for help in solving a Christmas car arson in Snoqualmie. The fire happened about 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 25, after unknown suspects broke out the front passenger window of a 2003 Mercedes C240 parked in the 9600 block of Snoqualmie Parkway.

Authorities believe the prowlers then set the vehicle on fire to cover up the crime. The Mercedes had been listed for sale.

Witnesses saw three people, who appeared to be two men and teenage girl, near the car just before the fire was reported.

Evidence taken from the scene is being processed. An Arson Alarm Foundation reward of up to $10,000.00 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Tips can be made to Fire Investigator Tom Devine at (206) 296-6670.
