The Snoqualmie Fire Department is partnering with Snoqualmie Ridge Supermarket for a food drive and benefit helping the Mount Si Food Bank, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12.

To help fill the department's aid car to the brim with donations, the store will have bags already filled with needed groceries ready for purchase.

All children will receive a candy cane for stopping by, and youngsters can check out the antique fire truck, fire engine and aid car.

Tony Russell from the Fitz in the Morning Show on 100.7 The Wolf will stop by the food drive in the afternoon for a visit and possible live broadcast. As a special treat, Santa will make an appearance at 2:30 p.m. for pictures on the old engine.

Questions can be directed to firefighter Jacob Fouts at (206) 940-1241.
