Several officers from the Carnation-Duvall Police Department responded to a call at a business in the 15200 block of Brown Avenue Northeast in Duvall at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30.

In the store, a 21 year-old Woodinville man was bleeding from a leg wound. He told police that he'd been assaulted at the ARCO gas station on Woodinville-Duvall Road, but he didn't see his attacker or the weapon.

After the attack, he went to Duvall, where a friend worked. A store employee noticed the man was bleeding and called 9-1-1.

The man was transported to Overlake Hospital, where King County Sheriff's Deputies took up the investigation.
