Milestone moment for Snoqualmie: Town Center improvement project wraps up

Momentum was the word of the moment as Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson, Snoqualmie Public Works Director Dan Marcinko, Jacob Macias of the U.S. Economic Development Administration and Puget Sound Regional Council’s Rick Olson joined local business owners and residents in celebrating the completion of the $3 million Town Center Improvement Project on Thursday, Nov. 18.

A large crowd gathered in the autumn chill to thank staff and construction crews, including Sanders General Construction owner Allen Sanders and Paul Fuesel of designers KPG, for their efforts to finish the project, aimed at making the downtown block more pedestrian friendly and attractive to business development. Work began this spring.
