New signs will be appearing in downtown North Bend soon, to announce a two-hour parking limit.

The North Bend City Council briefly discussed downtown parking as part of Council Member David Cook's report on the community and economic development committee meeting.

Cook said the committee had discussed setting a two-hour parking limit in the city's most congested areas, and reviewed the existing parking regulations. "The code's already in there, it's just never been implemented," he said.

The committee is requesting authorization to purchase signs that will mark the areas with the two-hour limits.
