The Northwest Railway Museum will celebrate the reality of a 53-year dream on Saturday, Oct. 2, with the dedication of its vast new exhibit building and train shed.

The ceremony is 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A train will depart the Snoqualmie Depot at Railroad Avenue and King Street at 9:30 a.m., carrying guests to the new exhibit center.

Refreshments will be provided by Isadora’s Cafe. In case of rain, bring an umbrella.

The building is located on Stone Quarry Road between Snoqualmie and North Bend, next to the existing Conservation and Restoration Center.
