King County Metro Transit will eliminate an early morning route in the Snoqualmie Valley starting this week as part of fall service changes.

Metro eliminated Route 209, the westbound trip to Issaquah leaving North Bend at 4:45 a.m., in service changes beginning Saturday, Oct. 2. On nearby Route 214, one morning and one evening trip will be discontinued between Issaquah and Seattle.

Eliminations are due to reduced sales-tax revenue for transit in the county.
