Public hearing set for Snoqualmie car tab fee

The Snoqualmie City Council, sitting as the Snoqualmie Transportation Benefit District Board of Directors, will hold a public hearing to receive input on the establishment of a $20 vehicle license fee.

The hearing is 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 S.E. River St.

The fee would apply to all cars owned by city residents. If approved, will take effect Jan. 1, 2011.

The board will also discuss the transportation improvement projects to be approved for funding with the revenues received from the fee.
