‘Cats roll into resurgent Interlake and silence their rally Softball makes a statement
Oct 02 2008, 11:20 PM The Mount Si High School softball team rolled into Interlake Tuesday, April 8, to best the Saints.

Interlake, who had been projected to finish near the bottom of the Kingco this season, has made some inroads into a contending postseason position in league with a couple of key upsets, including one over Skyline at the beginning of the season.

But the Wildcat bats silenced the Interlake charge, and in doing so, may have sent a huge message.

Linnea Baysinger, a seventh-grade student at Chief Kanim Middle School in Fall City, finished first in the J4 division at the Junior Olympics March 22 to 24 in Bogus Basin, Idaho. Anna Mounsey, a seventh-grade student at Snoqualmie Middle School, finished third overall in that division. Both young ladies compete with the TAS Alpental Snoqualmie team.
