Connect2Classes is teaming up with its world-class instructor talent to further bring festive and enlightening experiences to adults, teens, and kids. Better yet, team up with family, friends, co-workers, or clients to bond together this holiday season!

Sarah Crumb Art is a new provider in Bothell who offers art classes for kids and families with a focus on learning about art via nature, culture, art history, and pop culture. Sarah has degrees in art history and zoological education and spent five years doing conservation awareness education at Woodland Park Zoo, as well as community organizing and leading Camp Fire and Girl Scout groups. She’s also a published children’s and academic author. In December, Sarah is offering evening family workshops, daytime family classes, and preschool art classes for ages two and up, including ornament making, scrapbooking, collage making, and holiday cards. There is also a Harry Potter Craft Camp for ages 6 and up!

You can also join Head Chef of Purple Seattle, Harry “Coach” Mills, who will be joined by Purple’s Wine Director Chris Horn as students to shop at Pike Place Market for local seasonal ingredients and learn how to pair your holiday meals with a variety of wines from around the world. The event includes menu planning and meal creation at SieMatic Seattle kitchen to cook up a three course meal using your procured market ingredients. This class uncovers how wine and food flavors can work symbiotically and how to think of wine pairing in a less intimidating way.

Blue Ribbon Cooking is offering a Cooking Party with a holiday menu (with wines and cocktails) that is a bit different from the usual fare! This class will arm you with recipes that will please your whole family and teach you how to prepare an incredibly delicious feast that will be the highlight of your holiday. Wine pairing suggestions will be discussed and tasted with each course. Menu includes whole beef tenderloin with classic Cabernet Sauvignon sauce, game hens with marsala, cranberry, and orange, savory mushroom bread pudding, and rosemary gorgonzola scalloped potatoes. Blue Ribbon is also offering a kids’ cook camp with holiday gifts and comfort food for ages 7-16.
