The Issaquah Farmer’s Market is inviting potential and returning vendors to attend an “Open House” on Saturday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Pickering Farm Dairy Barn.

Opening this year on April 10, the Issaquah Farmer’s Market is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is anticipating an array of new vendors to join an extensive variety of organic produce, specialty foods, hand crafted arts and crafts, special events and weekly entertainment.

The open house event will allow vendors an opportunity to see the market location, meet staff and other vendors, and learn about the rules and regulations of the 2010 Market Season. All returning vendors except jewelry vendors may register at the open house event. New applicants and jewelry vendors must submit their items for review before their application is approved. A light refreshment provided for all visitors.

Vendors are expected to submit a $35 joining fee and a $25 weekly booth fee to take part during the market season.

The Issaquah Farmers Market will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10 to Oct. 9.
