A place at the table: Film showing to benefit North Bend food bank

Mount Si Food Bank and the North Bend Theatre host a showing of the film, “A Place at the Table,” about hunger in America, to benefit the food bank. The showing starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the North Bend Theatre. Admission of $10 includes popcorn and soda.

“A Place at the Table,” directed by Kristi Jacobson and Lori Silverbush examines hunger in America through the lens of three people struggling with food insecurity. Fifty million people in the U.S., including one in four children, don’t always know where their next meal is coming from.
