Watch for the City Hall in Snoqualmie to go dark this weekend for the cause of energy awareness.
On Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., the lights at Snoqualmie City Hall will be turned out in support of Earth Hour. The city has participated in Earth Hour for the past five years, to build awareness on climate change and global sustainability.
Earth Hour, organized by the World Wildlife Fund, began in one city in 2007 and by 2012 involved hundreds of millions of people in 152 countries across every continent.
