When you're missing your animal companion, Pet Bereavement Support Group can help
January 3, 2013 · 11:17 AM
Pets aren’t just part of our lives. Often, they’re part of our family. And when a beloved companion animal dies, the pain can be nearly overwhelming.
Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) has organized a Pet Bereavement Support Group to help those who have lost a beloved friend. The group is peer-based, facilitated by RASKC volunteers. They share stories, provide each other with an understanding heart, and a shoulder to lean on.
Meetings are held the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave S., Kent.
