Nominate an inspiring senior for county's Positive Aging award

Is there a senior in your life who has inspired you? A parent, mentor, older neighbor or high school teacher, whose life exemplifies positive aging through community involvement, healthy living, relationships, and endurance, is being sought for an upcoming, inspirational award.

Every year, Senior Services grants the Inspire Positive Aging Award to a deserving elder from King County. The winner will be awarded two roundtrip Alaska Airlines tickets to a designation of his or her choice.

Anyone is eligible to nominate a senior. All nominees should be individuals 65 and over who live in King County, Washington. Nominations will be accepted until Monday, April 9. The award will be presented on May 16th at Senior Services’ Annual Spring Breakfast.
