North Bend Mayor Ken Hearing enjoys a Sandra Brown historical novel in the ‘reading seat’ at North Bend Library, promoting King County Library’s Take Time To Read program.

Library staff emphasize daily reading, and may hand out Starbucks gift cards to people they see reading in the community.
