A gardener’s Seed Exchange and Winter Faire is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Carnation Tree Farm Barn, 31523 N.E. 40th St., Carnation.

Transition Snoqualmie Valley is hosting the event to support local biodiversity and food security by promoting local gardening. Presentations and information booths on seed saving, organic agriculture, compost, germination and other topics are planned. Music and food are in the works. Swapped seeds are free.
