The annual Harvest Carnival, co-sponsored by Si View Metro Parks and Encompass, is 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Si View Community Center in North Bend.

Families dress up to attend the carnival at the center, located at 400 S.E. Orchard Drive in North Bend. Admission is free, and $2 buys you 10 turns at classic carnival games. The carnival is fine for younger children, and the haunted house is also geared toward the younger set — not too scary. Haunted admission is $1 during the carnival, a G-rated version is open from 1-3pm, and PG version 3-4pm.

While the event is meant for children, adults will have fun, too.One week later, on Saturday October 30th, visitors can test their bravery at the Haunted House, 6:00-8:30pm at Si View featuring Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Admission to the 3G rated Haunted House (gory, gruesome and graphic) is $3.

The carnival and haunted house draws up to 400 people, in their Halloween finest, from all over the region. To learn more, visit www.siviewpark.org or call (425) 831-1900.
