Future of cycling at Carnation bike party

A Work Bicycle Work Party is noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Carnation Tree Farm barn, 31523 N.E. 40th St., Carnation.

Learn about basic bike maintenance and ideas for human-powered devices. Snacks will be provided.

The event is sponsored by Transition Snoqualmie Valley and 350.org.

It is part of 10/10/10, a global work day to lower carbon emissions.
