Snoqualmie Valley Snowbirds reunion to be held on Feb. 2 in Arizona

The 14th annual Snoqualmie Valley Snowbirds Reunion will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 in Yuma, Arizona.

The reunion, held on Groundhog’s Day every year, will begin at 12 p.m. at the Foothills Eatery Restaurant on 12871 S. Frontage Road, in Yuma.

Declan Mallady, a fifth-grader from Snoqualmie Elementary School, won the Regional Spelling Bee of King and Snohomish County on March 30, outspelling 73 competitors. The win qualifies Mallady for the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., this May.
