Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation announces classroom grant awards

The Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation has awarded $15,900 in Classroom Innovation Grants for the 2016-17 school year to the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

“SVSF is proud to support educators across the district who have gone the extra mile for their students. The Classroom Innovation Grants Program provides funding for new and inspirational programs at the elementary, middle and high school level,” said Cheryl Duncan, Grant Committee Chair.

This year’s grant awards include STEM programs at the elementary schools, keyboards for the Mount Si High School music program, and drones for the Mount Si computer science program. SVSF funds will support reading and language arts, STEM, music and fitness programs throughout the district.

The Classroom Innovation Grants Program is funded through the Foundation’s All in For Kids Clickathon. For more information on the program or to donate, visit www.svsfoundation.org.
