Snoqualmie Arts Commission seeks new members

The City of Snoqualmie Arts Commission has openings for new members. All members must live within Snoqualmie city limits.

The Arts Commission helps develop public programs for the arts, including hosting art classes, curating shows at City Hall, and developing events like the Finally Friday Art and Wine Walk and Arts in the Park and the Plein Air Paint Out at Railroad Days. The Arts Commission also advises the city on public art installations.

The commission meets once each month on the second Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 SE River Street. Members also volunteer to assist with commission events and assist in program development. Experience in the arts is a plus, but is not required.

Mayor Matt Larson is considering applications for appointment and confirmation by the City Council. To apply, visit the Commissions & Boards on the Snoqualmie website, under City Government, and fill out a Boards & Commission application.
