Rotary of Snoqualmie Valley is now seeking applications for 2017 grant funding

Rotary of Snoqualmie Valley is now taking applications for its 2017 grant process. Local organizations are welcome to apply for funding for the coming year through this process, which returns to the community every dollar that Rotary raises. The club will vote on grant awards in March.

”Our funds are limited but we do give 100 percent of every dime we collect back to the communities,” said Rotary spokesperson Rod Roadifer.

The all-volunteer Snoqualmie Valley Rotary awards grant funding to non-profit organizations serving people living in the Snoqualmie Valley. These awards are for specific items or programs needed to carry out the mission of the organization. Awards are typically for amounts from $250 to $5000.

Applications will be accepted up until Feb. 15. Requests should be for funding between March and Dec. 31, 2017.

To apply for funding or determine whether an organization is eligible for funding from Rotary, visit www.snoqualmievalleyrotary.org. Send completed applications to grants@snoqualmievalleyrotary.org or mail to Snoqualmie Valley Rotary, PO Box 1463, North Bend, WA 98045.

Requests for volunteer help from Snoqualmie Valley Rotary are also welcome.

“We donate our time and effort to helping out those in need, from the local food banks to eradicating polio across the globe,” said Roadifer.

Rotary meets Thursday mornings 7 a.m. at Snoqualmie Golf Club.
