The North Bend Educational and Cultural Association, NBECA for short, is preparing for its third annual spring scholarship auction, which will start at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at the Si View Community Center in North Bend.

Six scholarships were awarded last summer through NBECA’s Judy K Boyce Memorial Scholarship. Four Mount Si High School seniors and two seniors from Two Rivers School received assistance toward their educational pursuits after high school.

Since 2016, eight students have received scholarships through the organization.

Learn more about the auction items up for bid and other information on the NBECA Facebook page.

The 2018 application process for NBECA’s Judy K. Boyce Memorial Scholarship will be available to senior students at Mount Si High School and Two Rivers School.
