On Saturday, Aug. 12, 19 members of the Snoqualmie Valley Indivisible group marched in the Festival at Mount Si Parade.

The group took part in the parade to let people to know that they were active here in the Valley and open to anyone who would like to join them. They carried signs advocating for healthcare, the environment, and the rule of law.

Dan Olah and Marie Joy were the primary organizers. Bonnie Lawler read a brief statement before the march began.

The National Indivisible movement arose spontaneously as a response to a guide put out in December by two former Congressional staffers, de-mystifying the process of local activism. There are now 5,800 grassroots, non-partisan Indivisible groups registered all over the country, in every state.
