Hammontree receives neuroscience degree from Baylor

Molly G. Hammontree of Duvall graduated cum laude from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, during commencement exercises May 12 and 13.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience.

Declan Mallady, a fifth-grader from Snoqualmie Elementary School, won the Regional Spelling Bee of King and Snohomish County on March 30, outspelling 73 competitors. The win qualifies Mallady for the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., this May.
