Foodball ‘Fill the Truck’ Day is Saturday, Dec. 3 at North Bend QFC

Each year, Mount Si High School students are involved in two activities that help feed local families in anticipation of winter holidays. Students involved with the Associated Student Body (ASB) organize the events, and encourage other Snoqualmie Valley schools to participate. As a result, hundreds of families are helped each year through generous food donations and community collection efforts.

“Fill the Truck” days are Saturdays, when high school students take food donations to fill a truck that is parked at participating local grocery stores. One event has already been held, Nov. 19 at the Snoqualmie Ridge IGA, and only one event is on the schedule, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at QFC in North Bend.

Foodball is an annual food drive that runs from Nov. 21 to Dec. 15. Mount Si High School and all Snoqualmie Valley School District elementary schools are participating by collecting food donations near each school office.
