Eastside Friends of seniors hosts annual luncheon on Oct. 13

Older Adults Project Manager Wendy Pender will serve as the master of ceremonies for the annual luncheon to benefit Eastside Friends of Seniors on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Golf Club at Newcastle.

The King County Library specialist will be joined on the podium by Certified Care Manager of Aging Wisdom Jullie Gray who will deliver the keynote address.

The event is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. and last until 1:30 p.m. Registration will open at 11:15 a.m. Reservations can be made online until October 2 at www.eastsidefriendsofseniors.org/events/ or by calling 425-369-9120. The event is free to attend.

Eastside Friends of Seniors utilizes the services of volunteers who support the independence of seniors in the community by performing minor home repairs, routine maintenance, transportation, and companionship.
