Duvall’s Vicki Todd unveils her visual memoir, ‘Unstuck’

Duvall artist and author Vicki Todd has released her memoir, “Unstuck: One Heroine’s Journey of Art and the Courage to Live on Purpose,” published by Balboa Press.

“Unstuck” is an inspirational visual memoir in which Todd shares that “following your life’s purpose via intuition and making the world a brighter place by sharing the gifts you were given at birth” is the key to living with joy.

“Unstuck” tells Todd’s story of “flipping” her life twice from nonworking wife in a failing marriage to university professor, then resigning from her tenured position to follow her bliss in art. Todd illustrates her journey with a series of self-portraits she painted while pursuing her calling.

The book includes a series of reflective activities that encourage creativity through art and journaling, to help readers find deeper meaning.

“Living your purpose and serving others with your gifts can help uplift people and make life worthwhile,” Todd said. “Achieving balance through connecting with your higher self and reclaiming and living your life’s calling generates joy and peace within you that radiates to your outer world.”
