New York City-based singer-songwriter Caitlin Mahoney will be playing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 20 at the Black Dog Arts Cafe.

Mahoney’s classical vocal training and degree in creative writing give bring a unique perspective to the typical female singer-songwriter sound capturing stories of a young woman’s journey through life.

A Florida native, Mahoney began performing in public for the first time at age 7. She spent her early days in children’s choir and musical theater.

Her music has been featured on ABC Family, the Family Channel in Canada, Daytrotter, and in Starbucks stores throughout the United States.
