Volunteer at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center | Letter

Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center is a great place to volunteer. You will have lots of fun with all of the volunteers, instructors, riders, and horses.

As a volunteer you would have a choice as to which team you want to be on. Need a more flexible schedule? Then you should sign up for the paddock team, the administrative team, or even the landscaping and facility team! All of these teams offer flexible schedules.

A good choice for horse people is the barn team. The barn team assists with horse lunch and barn chores. The barn team is expected to work at least one shift, two and a half hours.

If you’re looking for a more challenging experience, you should sign up to work as a program volunteer. Once you go through Program Volunteer Training, you commit to a regular two-hour shift for at least six months. You will groom and tack up horses before classes, lead horses, support riders during classes, and put horses away after classes.

Whether you like horses, chores, riding, or just helping people, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center is the place for you.
