I am disgusted and insulted by Representative Reichert’s support for the Republicans bait and switch so-called healthcare plan. How stupid does Reichert think we are? Reichert said, “No one is gonna lose coverage. Let me make that clear again. No one will lose coverage.” Now estimates are that 700,000 people in Washington will lose healthcare. Reichert’s TrumpCare vote could kill more people than all our homegrown terrorists.

The reason Republicans hate Obamacare is because it has taxes that fall on the top 2% of earners, the donor class. TrumpCare should be called “Capital Gains Tax Relief”, not healthcare reform. Reichert said this is a “first step.” Ya, right, towards further tax cuts for the rich?

Reichert said, “Our goal remains to provide access to all Americans.” Good sound bite, but Americans have always had “access”, if they had money.

Jim Owens, Vanguard’s brilliant Healthcare Fund Manager, said that Obamacare was an access bill, not a cost-control bill. Progressives want a single-payer option because Insurance companies contribute nothing to healthcare except cost. One study (Bloomberg, 4-13-2013) found administrative costs add 30% to healthcare bills. Ideology is killing us.
