Firefighters to flip pancakes at Snoqualmie Railroad Days
July 27, 2010 · 12:05 PM
The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association will hold its annual fund-raising pancake breakfast, Saturday, Aug. 21, during Snoqualmie’s Railroad Days celebration.
The breakfast is 7 to 11 a.m. at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 S.E. Snoqualmie Parkway, and includes a firefighter-cooked pancake and ham breakfast, orange juice and Starbucks coffee served in the truck bay at the fire station. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children. Youths under 5 eat free. Children can also explore the engine and aid units, and there are lots of photo opportunities with the firefighters.
The morning also includes a $2 raffle for many items from local businesses and a silent auction for larger items. Prizes may include overnight getaways, sport excursions, gift certificates to local spas and athletic clubs, and business gift certificates.
The non-profit association helps support Snoqualmie Fire Department special equipment purchases as well as charitable organizations and historical preservation in the community.
