Voices needed for new all-Valley choir

Calling all voices! Interested singers are invited to join the Valley’s biggest chorus for the first annual Snoqualmie Valley Festival of Music.

The Voices of the Valley chorus performs Saturday and Sunday, August 7 and 8.

Rehearsals will be held weekly from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., June 14 through August 3 at Cascade Covenant Church in North Bend.

The choir is open to individuals ages 18 and older, preferably with choral experience.

Help needed for Carnation Fourth of July

A small group of residents are already planning this summer’s community Fourth of July celebration. However, more volunteers are needed to help for a few hours on the big day.

The Fourth of July committee meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at Carnation City Hall, and holds its next scheduled meeting on Monday, May 24. To get involved, contact Collienne Becker at becker@carnation4th.com or call (425) 333-5556.
