Tall Cedars Academy, a private elementary school in Duvall, tells the story of Jack and the Beanstock in its annual play.

The performance is 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 30, and 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Duvall Christian Youth Sanctuary.

Tall Cedars students present an adaptation of the tale by Chris Styles under the direction of headmaster Bill Alsdurf. Tickets for all ages at all shows are $12 and come with dessert, snacks and beverages.

TCA has produced a professional-quality play every year since its inception in 2006. The students put a great deal of work into every aspect of the play and all props and costumes are handmade by students and volunteers.
