Get pumped up to hit the slopes with a premiere screening of “Under the Influence,” a ski and snowboarding film by Teton Gravity Research.
The showing, Sunday, Nov. 2 at North Bend Theatre, is jointly sponsored by the theater, Pro Ski and Guiding Service and The Summit at Snoqualmie.
Sponsors of the film will be on hand with their products, door prizes will be given and visitors will have a chance to purchase a discounted ski pass. Tickets are available for presale at Pro Ski and Guiding Service.
The premiere is the first chance to see the film in Western Washington, North Bend Theatre owner Cindy Walker said. The showing helps promote North Bend as a gateway for winter activities.
“North Bend seems to be the logical place to celebrate the outdoors and all the things that are related with it,” said Pro Ski owner Martin Volken. “I certainly think that this is a step in the right direction.
“We are hoping to do events like this more often in different seasons, as well,” he said. For more information on the film, visit www.tetongravity.com/undertheinfluence/.
