Summer tourism campaign coming to Snoqualmie

“Sip, Shop & Savor Summer in Downtown Snoqualmie” is the theme of a new summer campaign which showcases the downtown Snoqualmie business district. The centerpiece is a series of arts events that begin July 19 and continue through September.

Partners include the Snoqualmie Arts Commission, Downtown Merchants Association and Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Artists and crafters from the Snoqualmie Valley are sought to join this partnership by exhibiting and selling their work. Local musicians are also needed for musical performances.

Opportunities to market art; and showcase musical performances include:

• Art walks on Fridays July 25 and August 29

• The Snoqualmie Arts Market and pop-up Outdoor Gallery on Saturdays, between July 19 and August 23.

•Arts in the Park arts and food showcase in Railroad Park, which is part of Railroad Days on August 16 and 17

“This campaign is all about leveraging the region’s vibrant arts and cultural heritage resources to engage the thousands of tourists that visit our area in summer. Our goal is to offer visitors more reasons to stay longer, spend more—and savor a bit of summer in downtown Snoqualmie,” explains campaign coordinator, Kim Ewing. “To achieve this goal,
