Photo teacher hosts Artist Guild presentation Saturday; Art show is Sunday

Photographer and Bellevue College teacher Ray Pfortner gives a presentation to the Mount Si Artist Guild, noon Saturday, Feb. 15, at Mount Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave S., North Bend.

The event is free to all MSAG members, or a $5 donation for non-members.

At the presentation, artists can learn how to use your digital image to increase their revenues. It is aimed at artists of any medium; painting, jewelry, pottery, sculpture and glass. Pfortner is a consultant to many artists of all mediums for marketing, exhibit curating services, and photo critiques and portfolio reviews.

You can also meet artists at the Celebration of Primary Colors Art Show, by the Mount Si Artist Guild, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at the North Bend Library.Bring the whole family to view local works at the show, which features the works of guild members.
