Turkeys at the theater: 'Free Birds' showing Saturday helps Valley schools foundation

Free Birds benefit: Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation presents "Free Birds" at the North Bend Theatre, 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. Cost is $15 for adults, $11 for children; save $1 if you buy in advance.

For the foundation's second annual Family Movie Day, make it a Double Turkey Day by running the Turkey Trot benefiting Snoqualmie Valley Schools in the morning, and then relaxing those tired turkey legs in the afternoon, while still helping Valley Schools.

Your ticket includes the show, a small soda, and a small popcorn, all in the newly upgraded North Bend Theater. Movie starts at 2 p.m., doors open at 1 p.m. You can buy tickets online to skip the line at the door.
