Celebrate gran and gramps on National Grandparent’s Day, September 8—a good weekend to take the grands for a ride aboard the Northwest Railway Museum’s antique train.

On Saturday and Sunday, grandparents ride free when accompanied by a paying grandchild – of any age. Enjoy a day together and experience the scenic beauty of the Cascade foothills aboard the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad.

Trains depart every 90 minutes beginning at 12:01 p.m. from the Snoqualmie Depot at 38625 S.E. King Street and at 12:31 p.m. from the North Bend Depot at 205 McClellan Street.

Roundtrip fares are $10 for grandchildren ages 2-12, $15 for grandchildren ages 13-61, and $12 for grandchildren ages 62 and up.
