Open air art: Photo gallery looks at Snoqualmie Plein Air Paint Out

The fifth annual Plein Air Paint Out was held in downtown Snoqualmie on Saturday, Aug. 24, drawing both local and distant artists to the competition.

Rachel Holloway, a regular kids’ paint out entrant, is loaded with supplies as she goes out to find a subject for her first entry in the adult Paint Out competition. A faithful Children’s Paint Out entrant, this year, she entered the official competition, winning second place.
